When did your love of STEM begin?

In 2013, I competed in my Highschool's Robotics Team. Over 3 years, I helped my team construct Robots. In 2016, I graduated highschool and decided to study machines at the College. In 2019, I graduated from St. Clair College and became the Alumni of Distinction Award Recipient. My goal is to obtain my Red Seal Certification.

What did you love most about study in your field of STEM?

The best thing about my field, is that we see everything we make. Harbour Technologies builds machines to produce medical masks and gowns. One of my favourite parts about my work, it that I have the the opportunity to meet students and share my experience through organizations such as Skills Ontario, FIRST Robotics Canada, and WEST Inc of Windsor.

What advice would you give to young women considering a career in STEM?

Don't be scared to try new things. Stop fearing changing, change is inevitable. Don't be scared of failure, it helps us grow as individual.
