What is your earliest memory of being intrigued by STEM?

In grade 7, when I discovered science fairs. I was driven by doing projects and sharing the knowledge I learnt in doing the projects.

What do you love about your work?

I love working with creative people, my team, my clients and even the users of our projects. I love absorbing everyone’s ideas and creating something unique and powerful that we can all be proud of.

What advice would you give to young women considering a career in STEM?

Go for it! There are so many amazing career opportunities in STEM that will drive you to do good in this world!

“This is me in grade 8 at the regional science fair. My interest in STEM started in grade 7 and 8, by participating in school

science competitions. This was a project that explored the systems that bring power and utility services to our built

environment using modern day city building practices. Evidently that spark for how buildings work started around this time!”
